1. Who we are

SellPulse ("we", "us", "our") provides software that helps Amazon and Walmart sellers analyze product profitability. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Data we collect

We collect only the data needed to operate the service:

  • Account data: email address, encrypted password, name (if provided).
  • Subscription data: billing identifiers from Stripe (we never see your full card number).
  • Product analyses: ASINs/UPCs you analyze, the cost prices you enter, results we compute.
  • Personal notes and supplier tags you save against ASINs.
  • Usage telemetry: API requests, latency, errors. Used only to keep the service healthy.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system. Logged for security and abuse prevention.

3. How we use your data

We use the data above to (a) provide and maintain the service, (b) authenticate you and prevent abuse, (c) bill you for paid plans, (d) send service-critical emails (password resets, billing notices, security alerts), (e) improve product reliability through aggregated metrics. We do not sell your data. We do not use your analyses to train AI models.

4. Third-party services we share data with

We share the minimum necessary data with these processors:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Receives email and billing identifiers only.
  • Amazon Web Services — infrastructure (database, storage, email delivery).
  • Keepa — product lookups. Receives the ASIN you query, never your account info.
  • Walmart — product lookups for Walmart WFS sellers. Receives the Item ID you query, never your account info.

5. How long we keep your data

We retain your account and analyses for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, we delete your account data within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records for tax or legal obligations.

6. Your rights

You can, at any time:

  • Access and download your data.
  • Correct or update inaccurate data.
  • Delete your account and all associated data.
  • Export your analyses in machine-readable format.
  • Object to processing for marketing (we do not currently send marketing).

7. Security

We host on AWS with encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. We monitor uptime and errors 24/7. No system is perfectly secure — we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of any breach affecting your data.

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies — authentication tokens, session state, language preference. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. International transfers

Our infrastructure is in the United States (AWS us-east-1). If you access SellPulse from another country, you consent to this transfer. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

10. Changes to this policy

We will email you and post a notice in the app at least 14 days before any material change. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
